My artwork is primarily done in watercolors, acrylics, collage and mixed media. Ongoing work represents a record of places visited, objects studied or ideas that are generated from feelings, experiences or my imagination. They range from quick watercolor studies to layers of paint and collage material. The final work is a visual extension of my emotions and connection with the subject that I hope the viewer will find equally as exciting as I found in creating it.  I enjoy sharing my knowledge of art with others and the rewards are double when I see a student excited about thinking and working creatively. No matter what ones skills or abilities are, the excitement  enthusiasm and love of creating art is what matters.

Individuality is the beginning and ending of all art.
